how to use square root in calc program

with the calculator program that comes with win2k(same as any win9x), there doesn't seem to be a way to use square root in scientific mode. Its only in standard mode. can anyone enlighten me where the square root button is on the scientific calculator?

if you do it to the power of .5 it's the same thing

if you're using the scientific mode.... you should know this by now

a) type the number in

b) click x^y

c) press enter

d) press 0.5

e) press enter
