Hi,
I have WIN98, and I can't DMA my HDD.
Umm.. when it starts to boot, computer displays that I have AOF.0800 Quantum fireball ST3.2A UDMA mode2. And the PIO mode is 4 and UMA mode is 2.
Does this mean I can make the HDD to do DMA?

However, whenever I check the DMA box in the HDD information from system menu, win98 automatically uncheck the box, even after the reboot.

BTW, in the devide manager, WIN98 displays my HDD as GENERIC IDE DISK TYPE47, but not it's name. Also in the harddisk controller menu, I have 3 controller, primary, secondary, and ALiM5229 PCI BUS MASTER IDE CONTROLLER.
Is this normal?

In the microsoft system menu, primary and Ali controller share IRQ14, and also secondary and Ali (again) controller share IRQ15.

Another question is about my ISA SB16 soundcard.
In the bios, I haven't located the soundcard to any IRQ because I don't know how to...
In the windows, it uses IRQ5 and DMA3 and 7. Is this normal?
