How to use ICS for Windows XP

My network goes like this:

Computer x-->crossover cable-->Computer y-->wireless-->Router-->Motorola SB5100 Cable Modem-->Internet

I can't figure out the network settings to use.

The link to the picture isn't working but I assume it will show Computer x directly connected to the router. I don't really want to do this as I don't feel like:
(a) buying another wireless adapter or
(b) string cable down to my basement

I did try that guide before posting but to no success.

Sorry, it works Now. However as you indicated above it of real intrest for you.

ICS with Wireless connection is a Quirky solution that not always works. ICS + AD-Hoc Wireless is more sensitive to signal noise and needs a better tuning that can not done by the regular configuration tools. It has to do with how protocols work under Ad-Hoc and ICS, and there is nothing you can do about it.

I might add that in general it always befuddles me to see people who have elaborate computer systems that cost to build + monthly expense of Internet service and electricity, end up with a Quirky Network in order to save few $$$. An inexpensive Wireless Client card can be found for $5 to $10.
