How can i change my website so that when people go there the slide bar on the right is a different color?

well for starters its CSS and it will only work in IE 5.0...so yeah why not google?

Please don't do this... It's annoying and causes accessibiltiy problems. Leave the scrollbar alone.

If you do mess with the user's browser look/feel, you should write code that checks the browser version before attempting to run any special code. Otherwise you may have some pissed off users...
