Just figured out how to use it. I'm writing this because I remember people asking for it and noone really knew how to use it, it seemed.

This tool cuts so much time when you OC and makes the system the most stable. I love it. Here it goes.

How to use max core/mem.

Typically, a person would increase the clockspeed until an error occurs and then back it back down until no error occur for a certain time limit. The certain time limit represents how long a person wants the OC to be stable. My time limit is 8 hours, because I know that I can play for almost 8 hours in one sitting. I want to have stability while I play and not start to see artifacts and have to wait for the card to cool down.

Sometimes, if you test for 8 hours, an error can occur 6 hours into it, meaning you just wasted 6 hours just to find out an error occurred. And this is where the beauty of ATITool works. ATITool works to get the most stable clockspeed out of it because it will automatically lower the clock when an error occurs.

Software: ATITool v0.0.22.

Note: Before you hit Find Max Core/Mem, decide which one you deem more important. That's the one you'll test first. After you find the max for that one, leave it clocked and test the other component. That will be your max for your graphics card. If you overclock your Core too much, you may be limited by your memory, so it may be a good idea to do memory first.

Procedure: Click "Scan for Artifacts" and increase the clock yourself, 5MHz at a time, until you hit an error and then back it down by 5MHz and click "Set Clock." Now, click "Abort" to exit "Scan for Artifacts" and click "Find Max Core/Mem".

Now all you have to do is wait. Have Fun.:)

EDIT: I edited out the Preparation technique because I missread it, stupid me. But the tool still kicks ass none the less.

Maybe I'll try this out. I set my card at 399/360 on day 1 and left it there. No artifacts or crashes. I have had it at XT speeds but my gains diminished at those speeds.

Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge VIAN.
