So, your fix is to go from using a renewable resource like trees to putting the burden on electricity which is generated from polluting non-renewable resources like oil, coal and natural gas.

Brilliant.

What hot air dryers do you use that are powered with oil coal and natural gas?

Since when is natural gas "polluting" anyway?

Oh I get it, the electricity that is used by the hot air dryer probably required oil or coal to produce, that is what you are trying to say. I suppose paper towels are created without using any energy source whatsoever, right? And the truck that ships those paper towels to the restroom doesn't pollute at all either? And It's impossible to produce electricity for the hot air dryer using clean methods, such as hydro or wind power, or nuclear fission?

I don't know all the details, feel free to do a complete cost analysis for producing paper and electricity and let me know how it breaks down. I could see some scenarios where it's cheaper make the paper and ship it to the restroom, but I'm not going to take your word for it without seeing you show your work.

Anyway, today I was reminded of another reason why I'd never shake my hands off before drying in a public restroom. Restrooms stink. Gotta get out asap, and my 3 towel method is clearly faster and superior to the 1 towel method in that regard.

You are all wrong.....

Step 1:
Pull off one square

step1.jpg

Step 2:
Fold square 4 times to make it 1/4 its original size

step2.jpg

Step 3:
Tear off corner piece and save little one for later (most important)

step3.jpg

Step 4:
Open up square again exposing newly created hole

step4.jpg

Step 5:
Slide pointing finger through hole

step5.jpg

Step 6:
Wipe Butthole [no picture]

Step 7:
Wrap paper on finger and slide off paper cleaning off finger - best to use a twisting motion.

step7.jpg

Step 8:
(final cleaning)
Use corner saved in step 3 to clean poop from around finger nail area

step8.jpg

Feel free to sticky, @Alex!

I have to admit, I'm addicted to paper towels. If we're out, I will actually drive to the store at 11pm to get another pack. I can't STAND them not being there to wipe up counters/dry things.
