The battery saver can act as a lifesaver at times. But if one were to search for it directly using the Cortana search app on a Windows 10 PC, no particular battery saver app can be found. But this does not mean that this critical feature has been removed from the new OS entirely. Rather, it now serves as part of the battery apps function. So, here’s a quick guide to using the battery saver app in Windows 10 PC.
Step 1
Open the 'Battery' settings
Place your cursor on the battery marker of your laptop and click on it. The battery marker is usually found on the bottom right corner of your screen.

Step 2
Select the 'Battery Slider'
Under the area where the available battery percentage is shown will be a slider. This slider can be used to decide how much power the battery will give out.

Step 3
Enable 'Battery Saver'
Click and hold the slider button and drag it to the leftmost corner of the box. This will turn the colors in the box grey and the text above will read ‘Battery saver’.

If you have followed the steps correctly the battery saver mode will now be enabled. By using this feature you can make your laptop run for a long time even if you are low on charge. Using your PC on the battery saver also puts less pressure on the battery and allows for its longevity.
