how to upgrade monitor driver

I have a sampo alphascan 17mx

and i founda d river at driver guide and downloaded it, it was just an inf file and thas it

i clicked it and selected install

but nothing happen, but others have gotten it to work, any ideas?
 
Manually install it. Go to Display Properties, Advanced, Monitor, Properties, Driver tab, Update Driver. Then when it asks for a location point it to the .inf file.
