How to upgrade a Mac Mini

Good roundup of upgrade options in my opinion 🙂 You could add some information about the "silent upgrade" however there's no guarantee that a buyer will get a Mac Mini with the upgraded specs because Apple still didn't update them on their website. But the possibility that the standard harddisk has 7200 rpm or that the DVD/CD drive might be faster could move some buyers with limited budgets to buy with the standard components first.

Added with credit for you, thanks! 🙂

1) Sell it
2) Collect interest on the money
3) When Intel-based Mini comes out, buy it

evesham already have an intel based mini....and its looking good

tad bit more expensive than the mini, but since its intel pentium m and it uses windows i reckon price premium will be forgotten about over its flexability. anyone can just pick one up and start using it.....where as with apple if your not used to using apples then you gotta learn how to use apples versions of your favourite programs....and thats if they are even available

I'm waiting for dual-core-Intel-powered MINI myself. I hope to grab one for $499 by the end of the year!

Vista what? OSX FTW in 2006! Vista SP1 in 2007!

Hey didn't read the whole thing but it would help to add pictures also warn ppl that this will void their warranty although I heard they don't care much if you swap out RAM only

haha, nice arty. my only thought on a change would be the "souping". i believe the proper term is "suping", derived from supe, or super.

...its a california thing... 😉
