How to update video bios using a PCI video card

I am trying to re-flash my ASUS V6800 Deluxe video card using the PCI video card.

There were no video signals coming from the V6800 card after I accidentally ran the bios update program.

So I need step by step clear instructions as to how I can re-flash the bios.

if you have the pci video card, install it & connect the monitor to it, leaving the AGP card in its slot. startup & enter bios & select the system to look for pci video card before agp card. when windows loads just use the generic windows vga driver. reflash your AGP card now as normal. hopefully the flash went successfully so retry the card by reattaching the monitor,removing the pci card & resetting bios.

Thanks a lot for your advice. I managed to flash my bios. Thank god ! I needed to install proper driver for my PCI card first before I can flash my V6800 video card.

I also flashed the SBA version successfully.

So here's what I did in case some other people had this problem:

Install current driver for PCI video card first
Reboot
Run the flash bios pgm (Pause for 10-20 secs...got me a scare => don't do anything when it is doing this , whole screen freezes) Will show flash updated successfully message.
Reboot , change bios (Initial Display Type => from PCI to AGP)
Connect to AGP card again
It works finally !

you didn't have to install the specific pci video driver but nevertheless well done. I suggest you now remove the drivers for that pci video card as it could cause unforseen problems!
