Hey,

I just got an SD31P shuttle box which needs a bios for dual core processors. I was hoping someone knew of a way to do a bios update without a floppy drive. I got the .bin file from the site but didn't see a shuttle provided app to update it in the OS. If I'm just missing it if you know the right place to look it would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

MN

- Burn bootable CD
- Boot from USB thumbdrive

All you need is this.

Boot from CD and so far there have been ZERO reported failures at SFFTech. This method is the safest and one of the easiest ways to update your bios on a Shuttle.

Here's another method:

Copy the bin onto an older HDD that can get to DOS. Boot up from the old HDD into DOS then run your flash utility via command line.
