I have BIOS verson 0103. I might be getting my floppy drive today, and I need to update the BIOS because when I tried to install the SoundMAX drivers in Windows Media Center, it said it couldn't find the HD Audio Codec. So I figured that the BIOS didn't support Windows Media Centre, forcing me to update the BIOS.
How do I update the BIOS with or without the floppy drive. I can't use the EZ Flash tool because on the ASUS support site, it says not to use EZ FLash prior to BIOS version 0203. link
I don't want to update my BIOS via Windows, because I've read that updating through Windows is not reliable, and that many BIOS failures are from updating the BIOS through Windows.
Can you guys help me update the BIOS? Thanks in advance.
