I bought a TV tuner card and install the intercast. for some reason, I uninstall it. when I reinstall it, the install wizard says that I already have one and need to uninstall. but the install wizard couldn't uninstall it because lose of one necessary file for uninstall.

So now I could not use this software.

what to do?

I think I understand what you're saying. I'd suggest taking a look at your registry, if you're working with Windows.

Now that I haven't done before. I seen the Windows98 tool "Regedit" mentioned before(type Regedit at the run command prompt), but that information presented by Regedit is foreign to me, and I don't know if you'll understand it or not. Search the freewares, I'm sure there's a more user-friendly tool for editing your registry, or maybe someone else has one they could recommend.

1. Start --> Run --> regedit.exe
2. Expand the tree HKey_LocalMachine / Software
3. Look for the name of the software company eg: HKLM/Software/Adobe
4. Back up that key ( Registry --> Export Registry File...)
5. Delete that key.

Be very, very careful when you do this. Make sure that you do the backup.
