How to uninstall Nvidia 21.83 driver in WinXP Pro?

Hi, the infinite loop problem has started to haunt me about a week ago, and it has been getting worse this few days. Computer locks up even in window media player. I have been trying to either rollback or update my Nvidia driver, but find out I couldn't. I have tried updating the driver, roll back the driver, uninstall driver then install another version and self-extract install, but it rolls back to 21.83 everytime after restart and the infinite loop problem presists. Is there anyway to disable to driver lock? I have tried to install 23.11, 12.41, 27.20 so far, and none of them were able to stay after restart.

Try this:

Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs, delete NVidia Windows 2000/XP Display Drivers

Should drop you back to the 15.xx series. Then you can update to 27.xx
