Looked in the usual places -
add/remove
folders
program files
shared apps
inf folders
system/32 folders
etc etc

Its a PCripoff[World] Easynote that came with loads of junk installed.

And they really dont want a third party tech coming and ruining their little subscription bundle.
Have stopped Nortons from loading at boot, but it does look untidy, and would rather install another AV - don't want to risk doing that with NAV etc etc

Thanx in advance - i am sure this is an easy one

There HAS TO BE an uninstall option for it in Add/Remove Programs. There may also be an uninstall icon in the Norton folder in your Programs list in the Start menu.

It's VERY risky to do a manual removal of Norton Internet Insecurity. You can easily damage your TCP/IP Stack. NIS is like a virus. You can't just delete the files - you have to undo a LOT of registry settings.

Otherwise go to http://www.symantec.com/search/ and do a search for "uninstall norton insternet security manually".

Hope this helps...

Ha -

There is a proggy from the symantec site - symNRT.exe that claims to do it.
Believe me, there is nowhere obvious that holds the uninstall key - might try a third party uninstaller though. Don't completely trust Nortons at the moment.

Cheers
