How to unhook the retention clips on the HSF?

Hi I need to install a new HSF, how do I go about doing this?

Those things are locked in pretty tight...

Use a socket driver (less likely to slip) or a straight tip screw driver (don't slip and scratch your board) , press down and pry outwards.
