A better way to do this (safer) is to go to your local electronics shop, by a cheapo momentary switch and rig it up to a 2 pin connector. Hook that onto your motherboard and at least you have a switch now. I used to use the screwdriver approach, but it's a little cumbersome sometimes. Just make one of these makeshift motherboard switches and you can re-use it for future experimentations .
