Notifications in Windows 10 can be really annoying for any PC user. These were meant for smart devices and not for desktops so it’s normal that you would want to get rid of them. There is a settings option that allows you to remove notifications from your desktop page. So, here are the steps that you need to follow to make sure that you are not getting any unwanted notifications and hearing the constant ‘ping’ sound.

Step 1
Open the 'Settings' Tab

At the bottom left corner of your screen is the 'Windows' menu button, click on it and open the 'Windows' menu. Now in the same area click on the 'Settings' button and open the 'Settings' tab.

This will effectively remove notifications from your desktop screen and each notification also has a sound option that you can disable separately if you only wish to disable the sound, but disabling it entirely should help you better.
