how to turn off remote linking?

i want to turn off the ability for people to remotely link from a site of mine. how do i do this?

they can just copy and paste the link and you can do NOTHING about it.

yes, im aware of that, but i can stop them from linking to images.

Better yet would be to find a way that if they do try to link an image of yours, you redirect their link and send them some nasty picture instead...

A better solution is to edit your .htaccess file with this code.
