How to turn off on-board video card?

I added a geforce 8400gs to my dell dimension pc and I want to turn off the default built-in video card. I can't find it under the device manager anywhere but the geforce 8400gs does show up under video card though.

If there's an option, you can disable onboard video in the bios.

Usually it's done automatically anyway though.

Typically, its either in the BIOS or there's a manual jumper on the motherboard that needs to be moved.
