how to turn off agp fast write on my 6800gt

just want to know how one turns off the agp fast write option with 6800gt. I know you can do it with ATI in their control panels. I can't seem to find that option in nvidia's control panels.

Thanks.

BIOS or dld Coolbits 2. Why do you need to shut it off. Are you having problems. If so please list and we will be more than happy to help 😛

turning fast write off in the BIOS is easiest. I turned fast writes off with my PNY and I get much smoother game play in Far Cry and 3dmark03 doesn't skip anymore. Also I can OC highier with out skipping with fast writes disabled.

Weird 😕 I have zero problems with fastwrites on and you can't hope to play WMV HD 1080p in MP9 content without it. No BFD, I'm just sayin' man, I'm just sayin' 😛

i'm not having any problems at all. I'm running my gt at 423/1.14GHz OC with stock cooling. Doom3 looks great and I get 12300 on 3dmark03. Very satisfied. But I make the habit of always turning fast write off b/c i have stability issues in the past with previous cards. I just think it's a safer bet to turn off fast write. It's more trouble than it's worth.

By the way, I see no option in my bios to turn off or on agp fast write. I have an Asus p4c800-e deluxe. Does that mean it's off by default?
