How to turn down 2nd interview ?

After a phone interview, I think I'll be offered a 2nd interview today.

After the recruiter told me a little bit more about the job description, I started to think that maybe I may not be a good fit for the position.

How can I respectfully decline a 2nd interview without thinking of being an arse?

Just tell them that your appreciate the opportunity to speak with them, but after further review of the position you do not feel that the position is right for you. Or something along that line.

Thank them graciously for an opportunity for a 2nd interview but you do not feel like the job fits with you. That is fine with them, you are opening your spot for someone who might really really want the job.

Agreed, they may have an opening that they may have not advertised that is more to your liking.
