I'm making a new computer so I need to transfer my emails from this computer to the new one. File > Export only has the option to transfer to Outlook or Exchange, no Outlook Express. Does anyone know how I can do this? thanks

Really easy solution would be to use one of the several Outlook Express backup programs. Just requires that you install the backup program on both machines and transfer the backupo archive but in return you can easily transfer not just mails but all your OE settings etc.

Some of those program are available
here.

For Win 2K:

-Press F3 or go to Find files.
-Type "outlook express".
-On the search results window, look for the longest directory of the Outlook Express folder(usually in C:\Documents and Settings\Your_Name\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\Number_ID\Microsoft
-Make a copy the folder.
-On your new computer, use the Import function on Outlook Express and point it on the Outlook Express folder you've just copied.
