Hi all
I know this will sound like a noob question, but I would like to find a way to transfer music or more importantly movie files to an android tablet.
More specifically I would like to be able to watch movies or TV shows on the tablet when wi-fi is not avaliable, such as on a plane or driving cross country. I dont mean streaming like netflix, because that requires internet. To complicate matters, my tablet has a very small SSD, 5gb I think, which is about half full already. It also has an SD card, but I cant figure out how to send files to the SD card instead of filling up the primary drive. Can you purchase movies on line, download and save them in a file size that is suitable for a tablet, or download you tube movies and watch later? Can you rip a dvd to your computer and transfer that to a tablet?
I ask because I just returned from a long flight and nearly everyone was watching movies or TV episodes on their tablets, while I was stuck with playing solitare or paying like 20.00 for internet on the plane, and then you still could not stream movies.
