with a single card ive always used ATi Tool to stress the system since it was harder on it than anythign else i could find well i tried it last night with my 9600GT's in SLi and using GPUz i saw that only the initial card was doing anything, the other just sat there...

stock clocks are 700/1779/950 since they are KO' that and i had it at 780/1779/1010...

Crysis seemed to not have a problem but when i let ATi tool run it acted like it was running in SLi and one of the cards freaked because the screen was flashing between white and my desktop, so i assumed it was doing the alternate framer rendering thing but im a NOOB when it comes to SLi so im probably wrong.

so what can i use to test/stress my new overclocks... oh and it crashed in 3dmark06 too, it said something about a device driver relaesing, i cant remember the actualy error... computer ran fine after that.

so all of you people are just randomly jamming more clocks at it, if it locks it locks... if not its stable?

I don't have SLI but I personally find ATI Tool too buggy to conclusively point out a hardware issue. I rely on specific games where I know that even a slight instability causes a crash, for example DiRT and Test Unlimited will crash an over-clock which works for most other games.
