How to test my vid card

Last nitght I started getting odd pauses in game while playing WoW. Then I started noticing a couple graphical oddities. Today I lwent AFK a bit and was killed while away. When I went to ghost form my screen looked like an old black and white tv getting antenna reception with a lot of static. Any gpu/vram testing utils I could run to see if it's time to start looking for a replacement? Running a bfg 8800gtoc.

Furmark is a bit more stressful, but ATItool will tell you when you have artifacts.
