I'm wondering if prime95 only tests your cpu and memory. If it does only that, is there another type of program out there that tests your motherboard for errors?

I'm not aware of any, and I have looked. Anyway, here's a free bump for you.

There is a small mobo tester that is on the hiren boot cd called troubleshooter. it will also test the proc and other stuff as well. I dont know how outdated it is but it does detect some basic errors.

thx for the bump and help. I think someone needs to create a program that tests motherboard functionality. Props to the first person that does it!
