How to test LCD for bad pixels

I'm getting a new 2005FPW LCD soon and I want to check it out for bad/stuck pixels when I receive it. What's the best way to do it? Are there some programs out there? Also, what about looking at backlighting etc?

Thanks,
CxP

use any program like a game or movie. bad(stuck) pixels will be off color. as for looking for lighting, etc, its all personal taste. just set it to a value you are comftable with.

I downloaded a program called lcdtest.exe, but have haev no idea where I got it from. It just changed the entire screen to black, white, and teh three primary colors and you simply looked over the screen at each color.

No dead/stuck pixels on my 19" BenQ.
