How to Test in Games ?

Hi all,

Could you please tell me what console commands to you type in the following games in order to check the performance of your System and graphics card?

The games are:

Quake3
Unreal Tournament
Unreal 2
Star wars: KOTOR
MAX Payne 2
S. SAM

Quake 3
to run a demo:
timedemo 1
demo four (must have version 1.32)

lrealtime framerate stats:
cg_drawFPS 1

UT
to run a demo:
timedemo 1
demoplay demo_name

realtime framerate stats:
timedemo 1

Unreal 2:
to run a demo:
timedemo 1
demoplay demo_name (I'm not 100% sure on this one).

realtime framerate stats:
timedemo 1

Serious Sam
to run a demo:
dem_bProfile=1
(then pick a demo from the menu)

realtime framerate stats:
hud_iStats=1

I'm not sure about the other two games but I suspect you might have to use FRAPS for them.

THX for your help, but I have problem with quake 3.
Demo000,001,002 and 127 wont work !!!!
Any ideas ?

Demo 1 and demo 2 only work on Quake 3 version 1.17 or earlier.
Demo 127 only works on Quake 3 version 1.25 and 1.27 (IIRC).

The standard demo is four and that works on version 1.32 which is the latest version. Patch the game and use that demo.
