How to Test Drive a New Car?

Well, all i have is a valid driving licence. I got no social security #. SO i have no credit, no nothing.

What will they ask me? Do i have to sign any papers before test driving a new car? I want to test a Honda S2000.

Well it helps if you show up in a nice car...

My friend was shopping for a car... he showed up in a lowered accord... we go to toyota and no one comes near us... he ends up getting an s2000... so goes back to the same dealer in an s2000 a month later because his girlfriend wants an mr2-s... they were all over them.

i heard the honda dealers dont let you test drive the s2000s, because they're 'special'. i dont know though.

some acura dealers don't let you test drive the NSX unless you show them your annual income... so i heard...

You have to show your drivers license, and proof of insurance. You might also have to sign a waiver, but only if the dealer doesn't trust you.

Once you're a repeat buyer, they'll usually trust you enough to let you take your next test drive solo.
