not sure if this is the right forum, but here goes anyways...
i have intel 6 core servers running suse linux and need a program to (non destructively) test the i/o performance of external arrays... something relatively simple like hdtach or hdtune does for windoze...
i've poked around a bit and can't seem to make sense of iometer, especially with suse...
is this really as hard to do on linux as it seems?
