How to tell what mounting brackets to get?

that one fits the size requirements and looks very Omni-Mount-ish, which, in my opinion, is a good thing. Monoprices Cantilever (Swivel/Tilt) mounts used to be garbage, but that one looks quite serviceable.

Edit: Make sure your studs are 16" apart (They really should be) or you should look at a different mount.

I recently installed a telescoping swivel/tilt mount from Monoprice for my buddy (60" TV). It was actually constructed very well.

I've never been worried about the strength of any monoprice mount. Some had pretty pathetic leveling systems however. But the new ones on their site look superb! That's very exciting. I paid $200 for a omnimount cantilever in 2008 because I was unhappy with the design on the previous selection of mounts at monoprice, and that was employee cost. The price of some mounts is just astounding.

Are all mounts "one size fits all" or do different TVs require different types of mounting brackets?
