On the chips, the part no. should end in a -xx where xx is the nanosecond cycle time. If it is -10 or perhaps 09 then it is 100, If -08 or less then probably 133 - but that doesn't 100% hold as chips may be rated at a certain ns and still not be able to refresh quickly enough so are used on a slower module. So it is best to install them into a machine and use a program that can read the SPD ROM on the modules like perhaps Belarc or Sisoft Sandra. If there is a paper label on the module, that might give a clue - just google on the part or model number.

actually, if it is pc100 the cycle time should be 8ns, as true pc100 ram is supposed to be able to operate at 125MHz. if it is cycle time 10, it is 100MHz. memory. if it is cycle time of 7.5, it is pc133.
