How to tell the difference between LGA775 and Socket 478?

I have a Pentium 4 Prescott, 2.8GHz, 1MB L2, 800MHz FSB. I don't have a motherboard to stick it in right now, or I'd just CPU-Z it. I THINK I've seen this processor in both LGA775 and 478.

Did all 478 chips have the pins on the processor itself, and did all LGA775 processors have gold round contacts with pins on the motherboard socket? If so, that answers my question. ;)

Yep. Plus S775 has the metal holder that prevents the CPU from being ripped from the socket by the heat sink and a different lever.

Excellent. I was 90% sure, but I wanted to double check.

Yeah - I think the lever on 478 was straight and plastic, while the LGA775 is metal and curved. Overall, LGA775 is the best socket I've ever had experiences with.

Thanks for the quick answer!
