Is there anything on the card that'll actually allow me to tell what the speed is? I got an oem card and it's manufactured by Sapphire, what's the lost in performance? Does it make that big of a difference? Anyone know anything about the ram on Powercooler radeon 7500? Thanx for the help!

you look at the ram chip,
there should be a set of numbers, the last two digits = your ram speed
36=3.6ns
x4 or 40?=4ns
so on

Yeah I'm running ATi drivers on a Powercolor (Jupiter) Radeon 7500. What brand/speed ram does yours have?

Off to the right of the chip as your reading it. It will have something like this: -4 , -36 or if your really lucky -33 , which is 4ns, 3.6ns and 3.3ns respectivly.

Mine has the 4ns ESMT and overclocks to 280MHz no problem, no artifacts. My core is good to 315MHz

i had a sapphire and it's 5.5, i'm gonna return it and get a "made by ATI" card. Hoping I won't get jacked a second time!
