Does anyone know how you can tell which models of 9800gt are the 55nm G92B based and not just a rebadged 65nm G92 8800GT?

The following is the only model which appears it may be so since it is labeled "Hybrid Power"

EVGA 512-P3-N980 9800GT

There are many other brands / models but no way to tell which manufacture it is.

I have heard that these models have been delayed and will not be released until September or later in Q4 of this year.

For now it appears the only 55nm card from Nvidia is the 9800GTX+, correct?

Thanks.

55nm 9800GT's are out but unfortunately there is no way to tell whether it is 55nm core or not; unless of course you take the stock cooler off.

So the 9800GT is a die shrunk 8800GT ? I thought they were identical. But apparently there is one more difference other than the name.

In addition they are suppose to support nVidia's Hybrid Power if you have a new nVidia motherboard which supports this feature. I do not currently but may in the future.

I am hoping that they have also included the latest PureVideo HD version 3 as well but I have seen no confirmation of that on the 55nm 9800GT. The 55nm 9600GT and 55nm 9500GT I believe have this feature.

I will take the wait and see approach and see what happens next month (September).

If it has Hybrid power support than its 55nm. If it doesn't than its the old 65nm...I confirmed this over at Evga's forums with one of their tech's...
