I've been getting a lot of verification errors on burns lately... how can I figure out if it's the software, or the CD-RW itself?

i had ez cd creator work great for me for like a year on my plextor 8x then it quit working at all for me.. i switched to Nero and all my problems went away... burning software can make a big difference
