how to tell display type of laptop

Dat

Senior member
well my buddy got a laptop from work and i am have been scoping out laptops from various people and places.

is there any way to tell what type of display is on the laptop, ie if it is sxga, xga or uxga?

any settings i can look at or any tools i can download?

Just figure out what its native resolution is...whatever resolution fills the screen without scrolling.

UGXA: A display with 1600x1200 pixel resolution.
SXGA: A display with 1280 x 1024 pixel resolution.
XGA: A display with 1024 x 768 pixel resolution.
