How to tell difference between Radeon 8500s?

i bought a "retail" version, which came in its original box... how do i check to see if its really the 275/275 as opposed to the 250/250? (i know if its shipped in a retail box its the 275, but suppose they made a mistake )

is there something i can run to check it?

You can run PowerStrip and it will tell you. My retail 8500 from Best Buy (and what a buy it was @ $139) wasn't set at 275. It was set at 274.5 for both

Yes, it won't show up as 275MHz even. But maybe it will go to higher rounded number
