I have an Asus A8V deluxe mobo. The board has rev 2.00 silkscreened on the PCB. However, Sandra and CPU-Z (both the latest versions) say the board is a rev 1.xx. The board does have the option to lock the AGP/PCI buses in the BIOS.
What gives?
Good question as I have the same board and realized the same thing. Too bad I slipped while attaching my heatsink and my board is now DEAD. I was gonna enjoy the weekend with a new system and will have to wait several days until I

Dear xxxx,
Generally, our stock moves so fast that we have the latest version or revision of everything. Unfortunately, we do not have a way to physically get our hands on our most current stock and tell you what revision we have at the moment. Also, we cannot tag a particular item for a particular order. We ship what we have, when we have it, at our discretion. We do not guarantee revision numbers unless it is specifically noted on the description on the website.
I got mine 2 days ago here in UK. Funny thing is that it is Rev2.0 and came bundled WITH Wi-Fi. As far as I know rev 2.0 does not bundle with Wi-Fi. Any1 can shed some light ? other than that works fine.

umm is it just me or are some people talking about different boards...the a8v and the av8? heck i dont know but im pretty sure they are *ahem*the guy above me*ahem*
I know what it says there, its just other programs reported differently. And guess what, 3DMark '05 reports that I have Rev3.0! Anyway, I just noticed on the POST screen when booting up that it clearly shows Rev 2.0. All worries are gone.
