how does Suze Randall takes such great, vivid photos???
is this photoshop?? a kind of filter she uses?

heres a photo i took.. as you can see, mine is kinda bland.. almost washed out.
i just bought a canon rebel slr and would love to know how to take great photos. any tips or links would b greatly appreciated!!
 
Learn the technical aspects of getting the correct exposure first (f-stops and shutter speed) 😉 The pic that you took looks overexposed, and unless the blurry teddy bear is intended, that's where faster shutter speed comes in. Then learn composition but that will come with a lot of experience.
 
Yea you needed to compensate for the brighter light source on the left of the photo.....but like others said practice makes perfect 😉
 
whats HDR?

the blurry teddy bear was because she was moving. it was not intended but actually comes out looking pretty cool

the girl was my next door neighbor. an elementary school teacher.
