how to take screenshots from a video

i'm trying to print out some screenshots from a video but i cannot capture them

i had been using Fraps but my CPU won't support SSE (it's a PII) after i'd switched from a PIII.

pressing printscreen and pasting it into paint won't work, please give me some help, thanks

 
Depending on operating system and application, there are a number of different ways to accomplish it. Cranking down the "video acceleration" slider in the System control panel will probably take care of it system-wide, on Windows machines.


Other option is to Use VLC Player. Media Player Classic also has a save image feature. Dunno if it works.
