Hey all,
I recently purchased a PocketPC but have run into a problem. I use Thunderbird for email and I have no way to sync my contacts with my PocketPC (I don't have to sync my emails).

I figure if I can sync the contacts in Thunderbird and Outlook I'll be set because I can then sync my PocketPC with Outlook. I just don't know how to sync Thunderbird and Outlook?

Or if anyone knows how to sync Thunderbird and a PocketPC please let me know!

Best regards,
Justin

pretty sure syncing to Thunderbird is not possible. At least if you are using the MS Activesync program. Not sure if there are 3rd party syncing programs to do what you want.

there are plenty of thrid party programs in development. THe problem is that they don't work. IF you want to sync data with a pocket PC you pretty much have to use Outlook. I would love for someone to develop pocetPC to tbird and sunbird sync but it just hasn't happened.

You can transfer but there will be no syncing. I've wasted a good chunk of my life trying to get this to work. Please post back or pm me if you are sucessful. I hate outlook so much that I pretty much stopped using my pc.

One thing you can do if you are so inclined is to setup up an openexchange server and then you can remotly access everything. That is of course if you have internet access.

The contact and email sync problem is huge in this industry and once again we can thank M$ for not using standards.
