My daughter's computer hard drive crashed last week losing all of her Itunes music movies, etc. Luckily she had virtually all of her content on her Ipod Nano. Her PC has been fixed and the newest version of ITunes has been installed but I have heard from more than one person that simply hooking the Ipod up and syncing will either result in losing all the content or it just won't work without resetting the Ipod. I know there are third party apps like Media Monkey but she likes ITunes and the iTunes store interface and wants to continue as before the crash.
