How to switch off DMA in Win2k

Where in win2k can i switch DMA on and off for my Cdrom drives?

Go into Device Manager, then open the section under IDE/ATA/ATAPI Controllers, then select either IDE channel (depending wherever you have your CD drives installed) then go to the Advanced Options tabs and select which modes you want the devices to run in.

How do you do it if the drive is on a UDMA card, not onboard

Why would you want to turn off DMA? It make your IDE devices a lot faster.
