How to store beer

Normally I take cold beer from the store and put it in the beer fridge.

But after a big party where I stored the beer outside in 30 degree weather I took the cases inside and there they sit. there's also 12 beers that have been outside for weeks with temps ranging from 30 to 70 degrees.

So which ones are ruined and which ones are still good?

And in the future if you're not going to be chilling the beer how long can it be kept at room temperature and should it be purchased at room temp?

thanks in advance.

You can still drink the beer, but it may taste a bit off. I know a lot of people that say "Oh that wasn't in the fridge? It's probably "skunked" and won't drink it. To me that is a load of crap.

beer that goes from cold -> warm -> cold will get skunked.

If you buy the beer warm (at room temp. out of cooler), then you can continue to leave it at room temp. The same principle would apply here, though, if you left it in your garage in the summer and it got very warm after being only room temp. Soon as you put on ice/put in fridge then it should be kept cold until drank, else it will go bad.
