How to stop spammers from using my domain as a reply-to?

So I opened up my master domain email account today and found 3335 messages in the inbox, most of which were failed delivery receipts all on the same day. It appears that someone (spammer) sent out thousands of bulk emails with the return address of xxxxxxxxx@teh-intarweb.com (where xxxxxxxx is either a fake name or string of random characters).

I don't anticipate it happening again but it would be nice to know if there's anything I can do in the future to protect myself against this.

If it helps, the spammer is an agent of mail15.com (free russian email site).

Bastards.

Oh, and to make matters worse, something hosed my installation of Hivemail and I lost three accounts in the ensuing carnage. Wunderbar.

get a domain name such as fa875325hjasdf8av07ads09r83252h8v8s9ad7f8a323h5s8va9sd8f7ads9f7.com and it'll probably take spammers a while to spoof it. :)

Seriously, there's nothing you can do to stop them from doing this.... one of the <sarcasm>wonderful features</sarcasm> of the SMTP protocol. You'll just have to filter them.
