How to stop Nvidia vid card from running 100% with iTunes?

Hey all, i noticed that my GTX 670 video card runs @ full 100% (instead of idle) when iTunes is running. Is there anyway to keep it @ idle speeds instead of running 100% with iTunes as i'm sure iTunes isn't a demanding program.(It only happens when i visit the iTunes store, but even after i leave the itunes store its still running 100%), its just running in the background idle and yet my vid card is running 100%.🙁

I added the iTunes profile to my nvidia control panel, but there's no option to set the speeds under the profile setting.😛

Thanks in advance for any help.

If i'm understanding you correctly, your GPU is running at full 3d clock speeds? As opposed to 2d idle? If so, there are two ways to fix it:

1) Go to control panel, and specify "adaptive" power management as opposed to maximum performance

2) Create a program setting in the 2nd tab for itunes, and specify adaptive power management while leaving the global settings at maximum performance

thanks blackened23, that fixed it!!🙂

Wonder how Nvidia missed that? iTunes store certainly doesnt need full 3d stock speeds, no?
