how to stop my corvette in GT4 oversteering!

its a 69 vette, 540BHP

i only bought the semi racing suspension since i dont know enough about all the different suspension aspects yet

to stop oversteer do i soften the rear or stiffen the rear?

i have to race the AC cobra......and on the nuburgring, the computer gives it about an 8 second headstart, as a result i have zero chance of catching it since its soo fast...but when i actually buy the car its a nightmare. uncontrollable nightmare, the vette is more contollable!

what do u suggest then? has to be a pre 70's car
