i have usb mouse on win xp sp2. the monitor is set to turn off after 30 minutes. but sometimes the mouse gets accidentally bumped and wakes the monitor. how can i make only the keyboard able to wake the monitor?

Turn the mouse over when you leave the PC? (j/k) maybe theres a sensitivity adj in the control panel, under mouse settings?

Since its a usb mouse, you might be able to try and uncheck "allow this device to bring the computer out of standby." It should be located in the power management tab in the properties for the mouse in device manager.
